Originally intended for Lalibre.be website with multiple video segments and interviews, the report was also featured as a double-page spread in the newspaper La Libre Belgique.



Two companies rent the 5,000 square meters of slaughtering facilities: Abaco for large livestock (cattle, horses, sheep) and Seva for pigs. In a long, two-story hangar, each company operates its own slaughter line. Approximately 230,000 animals are slaughtered annually, accounting for about 2 to 3% of the Belgian market.
